Howdy!

My name is Matthew Rasmussen (he/him) and I am a Junior Computer Science major at Carleton College. I am from Oberlin, Ohio and now also live in Walla Walla, Washington. You can say small college towns run in my blood.

On campus, outside of classes, I keep myself busy by working for the Admissions Office, I sing in the choir, and I play on the football team. All of which teach me many things you don’t quite get in the classroom.

I am hoping that for the rest of my time at Carleton I can continue to find new and exciting ways to connect my passions. Right now that is taking the form of exploring the Digital Arts and Humanities minor as a bridge between my love for the Humanities and my newer love for Computer Science.

This is just another beginning to a brand new world and I am excited to bring y’all along with me!
